Ivan is an NPC in The Last Stand: Dead Zone. His primary role is as a quest giver to the player. He is described as a stocky Russian man who "claims to be a trader". What happens to him after the player completes his tasks is unknown. He is likely an opponent of X, as he provides schematics to survivors during the events of Halloween 2015 to fight against X's berserkers.

The player can acquire his first task after completing the quest "Entering South Trenton".
Description[]
A stocky Russian man approaches the compound, he claims to be a trader. He's offering equipment for some food and water.
Walkthrough[]
After accepting the quest, the player must simply obtain 25 units of food and water. Raiding a single Supermarket will likely fulfill both in one go.

Ivan Returns[]
Acquisition[]
The player can acquire his second task after completing the quest "Ivan The Trader".
Description[]
The Trader returns to your compound, looking content with the food you gave him. He says he wants radio parts this time around, can't think what for.
Walkthrough[]
After accepting the quest, the player must obtain a Broken Radio and Wire. Wires are relatively common and can be also obtained by recycling some types of junk, but Broken Radios can be difficult to find. Warehouses tend to contain a large amount of random junk in addition to resources, providing the best chance of finding a Broken Radio.

The player can acquire his third task after completing the quest "Ivan The Trader".
Description[]
The trader wants to build something, he's not saying what he just needs the materials.
Walkthrough[]
After accepting the quest, the player must obtain 200 Wood, 3 Pipes and 2 Ropes. A trip to a Hardware Store should fulfill this in one run, though the Pipes and Ropes may necessitate additional trips.

The player can acquire his fourth task after completing the "Wind Power" task.
Description[]
Ivan drops by and mentions he's envious of your generator. He's looking for parts for a windmill to power the place he is holed up in.
Walkthrough[]
After accepting the quest, the player must obtain 300 Metal, 4 Metal Cable and 150 Wood. A run (or several) to Hardware Stores and Warehouses should easily fulfill this.

Ivan's Electronics[]

The player can acquire his fifth task after completing the "Ivan's Back Again" task.
Description[]
The Russian is back again, looking for electronic scrap and some metal. He says there's an office in Riverside Waters you should check for the parts he wants.
Walkthrough[]
After accepting the quest, the player must obtain 200 Metal and 5 Electronic Scrap, as well as visiting a Small Office in Riverside Waters. Said Small Office is a good place to start, though the required Metal may require additional trips to Hardware Stores.

Description[]

The player can acquire his seventh task after completing the "Ivan's Battery Emporium" mission.

Walkthrough[]
Ivan asks for 30 Explosive Charges and 60 Copper Wire. The Copper Wire is relatively easy to find, as many junk items have it in their recycling products. Explosive Charges are harder to find, especially in bulk. It is recommended to scavenge in places where guns are common, such as Streets or Securities.
