Werewolf facts
From Last Stand Wiki
Lycanthropes (Hominus Lupus)
-Advanced Digestive System. Lycanthrope stomachs are much more advanced than a human's. It can break down food, and even bone, at much faster rate than a human.
-Advanced Metabolism. Lycanthropes can more efficiently absorb and use nutrients found in food.
-Metamorphosis. A lycanthrope can transform into a large, humanoid wolf, or a large quadropedic wolf. How exactly this transformation is triggered is unknown.
-Moon. Lycanthrope strength is affected by the moon. As the full moon draws closer, a lycanthrope strength, stamina, and endurance are greatly increased.
-Silver allergy. Lycanthropes are extremely sensitive to silver. If silver touches lycanthrope skin, it will cause a burning reaction. If a lycanthrope breathes in silver flakes, it greatly irritates breathing, and can cause respiratory failure within 30 minutes, ingestion of silver will almost guarantee a painful death, and injection of silver will cause one of the most horrible deaths. Lycanthropes are also sensitive to argentite, horn silver, and pyrargyrite. However, the effects caused by the previous three mentioned are not as severe to pure (Or mostly pure) silver.
-Increased muscular strength, endurance, agility, and speed. A lycanthrope requires less energy to execute a repeated task. Lycanthropes expend much less energy when doing things that normally push the human limit. Lycanthropes, while being faster than a human, are not as fast as vampires. However, when it comes to brute force, the lycanthrope reigns supreme.
-Omnisenses. Like their wolf relatives, lycanthropes have great senses of smell, hearing, and sight.
-Instinct. Lycanthropes are more in tune with animalistic instinct. They are able to detect things that humans would normally not pick up. This is considered to be a sort of sixth sense. However, they are also much more brutal and ferocious. An enraged lycanthrope, a feral lycanthrope, or even a lycanthrope with mange is much more dangerous than an average lycanthrope.
-Lycanthropes are regular biological entities. As such, they are vulnerable to climate changes, diseases, poisons, and toxins.
-Adaptability. Due to the human factor in the lycanthrope being, a lycanthrope can adapt to general changes, and improvise in non-extreme situations.
-Communication (Credit to TPTI). Basically being a canine, a lycanthrope is able to communicate with and understand the calls of other canids. A lycanthrope is also able to convey messages of distress, mark territory, and other such things via scents.
-Fur (Credit to TPTI). Lycanthrope fur is coarse enough to be able to glance off knife wounds.
-Enhanced Skeletal System (Credit to TPTI). The nature of the lycanthropic morph from human to wolf is still unknown, and as such, certain other factors regarding the change are still unknown. A lycanthrope's skeletal system is stronger and more durable, but "elastic" enough to be able to grow/shrink during a morph. Lycanthrope teeth also follow the same example.
-Credit goes to Chainsmoke Angel for compiling this on the site. I just took the liberty of making it an Artical on the Wiki.
